General Hospital Spoilers: Is Genie Francis Coming Back Already?

General Hospital Comings and Goings indicate that fan favorite Genie Francis might be back in Port Charles before we know it. As a matter of fact, many fans can’t help but wonder what is in Genie’s future as the Emmy winner and General Hospital executive producer Frank Valentini was spotted having a power lunch together in Los Angeles.
While Frank Valentini is yet to make any comments about Genie’s return, there’s strong speculation that it might happen sooner rather than later. Genie has also defended Frank, saying he was not the reason why she was forced out of the show. Everyone was shocked to find out that Genie’s contract wasn’t extended and that she would be demoted to a recurring role only. As a result, Laura left Port Charles to be in Europe to take care of her grandson. Spencer (Nicolas Bechtel) who broke both of his legs while skiing and she left to take care of him near his boarding school in France. And now fans are wondering if she’ll be making a comeback and if so, what is in store for her.
According to ABC Soaps in Depth, there are also whispers that the General Hospital writing team is working on a “prolific, big story for Laura that deserves the many talents of Genie Francis.”

It’s without a doubt that General Hospital fans can’t wait to see more of her and her character, Laura Spencer, back at Port Charles. After all, she’s a true daytime soap icon! Right now producers have made no comments about Genie’s future contract negotiations, though.

Yes bring Genie back to stay permanently she has a good story going with Dr Collins .. miss her !! Also bring back Scotty he had a story with his son Franco love Scotty he was funny too … and keep Dominic why is he leaving I love his character also , what’s going on with GH all the good ones are gone or leaving wise up GH for your shows sake , not looking to good , and I’m extremely happy Steve is back …
Yes, can’t wait for Genie to be back on GH! It was a huge mistake to have her leave in the first place. She had great story lines going when that happened!
