General Hospital Spoilers: Joss Turns Sonny In — And Dex Pays The Price

General Hospital spoilers tease Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) never had any intentions of getting into an all out war with her brother, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), but he’s asking her to choose between her family — and the man she’s falling in love with, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer). Joss is an impulsive girl who greatly mirrors her mother — Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) — at this age. She’s going to act in her own best interest and choose Dex above all else.

Unwilling to part ways with him so he can skip town and leave the mob behind, and equally as unwilling to part ways with her own life to go with him, Joss sees Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) going to jail as the only solution to her problem. What she won’t see coming is how it will all come crashing down on Dex. Sonny isn’t a stupid man and it’s clear that Joss is about to underestimate him.

Joss knows she can’t just walk into the PCPD and report Sonny’s crimes without evidence — and she doesn’t want to be connected to this mess either. But someone should have warned her that she might not understand the ability the police have to trace that video footage.

Maybe she’ll slip it off of Dex’s phone while he’s in the shower and none the wiser, but being the novice that she is, she won’t know how to make sure there isn’t any data linking it to his device before she copies it to a thumb drive and tucks it away for later. Dropping it off at Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) door and running away like a coward is going to become a choice that haunts her.

When Dante views the footage and realizes what has been handed to him, he won’t be able to help himself from questioning why. Why would someone report Sonny anonymously?

Why would they send this footage to his personal place of residence instead of the PCPD or even the feds? It’s too convenient and seems like they want Dante to personally go after his own father — a theme that was foreshadowed months ago when he and Sonny agreed they would never lose love for one another no matter what legal wars came their way as they both work on opposite sides of the law.

Against his better judgment, Dante is going to take that evidence to his father, not the police station. He may not give him the original copy, but that doesn’t mean he’s not willing to give his pops a heads up. That being said, Sonny won’t waste time having a copy of it traced while fueling his jet to take off before his son can return to arrest him.

We’ll probably see Brick (Stephen A. Smith) play a role in this takedown because he’s been noticeably suspicious of Dex all along. Will he be the one to deliver the news to Sonny that the video came from Dex’s phone?

When the family learns that Sonny and Dex are both MIA, it’s going to paralyze Joss. It wasn’t supposed to work out this way. How did Sonny figure it out? Where did she go wrong? All she mulls over all the questions in her mind, Michael is certainly going to have something to say about how that video ended up in Dante’s possession.
