Burglars Stole $1 Million From Hallmark Alum Lori Loughlin

Former Hallmark star Lori Loughlin hasn’t had a good time in recent months. First, there was her imprisonment relating to the College Admissions scandal. Now, in January 2022, masked intruders have broken into the Where Calls the Heart alum’s home, stealing jewelry worth $1 million.

According to a report, Lori Loughlin’s home was burgled in early January and around $1 million in jewelry was stolen. Up until recently, Loughlin, who stars in When Hope Calls on GAC Family, kept the robbery out of the spotlight.

However, TMZ reports that the robbery took place on January 3 and her housekeeper was the one to discover the break-in, as Loughlin and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, were not home at the time. The thieves allegedly broke into their home via a bedroom window and the act was captured on surveillance cameras. However, as they were wearing black clothing and masks, their identities cannot be determined. According to the report, Loughlin and Giannulli have since beefed up the security at their home and police are investigating the crime.

Police believe the robbers are a group of South American burglars, known for targeting locations in the US before fleeing the country. It is unknown if the robbers knew it was Loughlin’s home, or if the house was chosen at random.

Hallmark Channel News – Material Possessions Don’t Matter

While no doubt Loughlin is shocked by the recent break-in, her representative said that Bob Saget’s recent passing at the age of 65 has reminded her that material possessions aren’t what matters, but love and family are. His death reportedly helped the Hallmark alum put things into perspective.

Fans will recall that Lori and Saget starred together in Full House between 1987 and 1995. Saget played the role of Danny Tanner, while Loughlin played Rebecca on the show.

Speaking to Us Weekly, Loughlin said of Bob’s death, “Words cannot begin to express how devastated I am.”

“Bob was more than a friend to me; he was a member of my family. His warm heart and witty wit will be missed. Thank you for a lifetime of laughter and wonderful memories. Bobby, I adore you.”
