Little People, Big World News: Is Matt Roloff Leaving the Family Farm?

Little People, Big World News: Is Matt Roloff Leaving the Family Farm?Earlier this week, Matt Roloff shared a “big exciting project” he’s been undertaking while “Little People, Big World” is off the air. The 57-year-old patriarch seems super psyched about it, but his fans found his secret project a bit alarming.

In an Instagram post, Matt shared a video showing him and a few other guys cleaning up a piece of bare property. He revealed that he purchased the 1-acre lot just recently, and he’s hoping to build a new structure on it.

“On Nov. 1, I purchased a 1-acre plus piece of property with three different old, tear down homes on it,” Matt is heard saying in the video. “What we’re doing now is a pretty significant clean-up.”

Is Matt planning to move out of Roloff Farms soon? This might be the case. The reality star confirmed that he is thinking of building a new home on his newly acquired lot, but he assured his fans that it’s not far from the farm.

“I’m probably gonna tear these homes down and build a new home on a 1-acre lot here, not far from the farm,” he said.

Matt and Amy Roloff’s proximity to each other has been a big issue on the past few seasons of “Little People, Big World.” Though already divorced since 2016, the two still live around 500 feet from each other at the family-owned pumpkin farm in Oregon. Matt and Amy also manage the farm together, which have caused tension between the two exes.

Since their split, Matt and Amy have also found new loves. Matt is currently dating Caryn Chandler, the farm’s former manager. Meanwhile, Amy is with Chris Marek, her boyfriend of two years.

While “Little People, Big World” has featured the ex-couple’s rifts and tension, Matt and Amy try to maintain an amicable relationship for the sake of their business and children. Matt’s plan to move a little farther from his ex-wife’s house may be a step towards building a more peaceful environment within his family.

“Little People, Big World” is confirmed to air a new season sometime next year on TLC.

I think Matt and Caryn are a great couple. I never liked Amy with Matt. She was very over bearing treating him. No Problem with her having a boyfriend, but was very jealous of Caryn and Matt.
