Below Deck Spoilers – Captain Lee Tweets Good News!

Famously dubbed the stud of the sea, Captain Lee Rosbach has remained a Below Deck fan fave season after season. But when Lee suffered health worries, he stepped off his yacht in order to recover. And as season 10 of Below Deck revealed, Captain Sandy Yawn tried to fill Lee’s shoes. However, now Lee has announced his return, noted the Express.

And turning to Twitter, the beloved stud of the sea tweeted, “Ok, I’ll be back next week, can’t wait to get back, feels good, no, feels great. Same drill, gym in the am,” added Captain Lee about his schedule. “And to anyone I have missed, catch you on the flip side.”

However, the Below Deck fan fave also expressed his gratitude to his followers. And Captain Lee added, “Your outpouring of support is amazing, thank you so very much. I am touched. Thank you so very much.”

And fans went wild after reading the Below Deck captain’s update. For instead, one excited fan wrote, “Omg thank God you are feeling better Captain Lee!!!! Happy to get you back on our screens.” And another tweeted, “YESSSS! The Stud of the Sea returns. I can watch Below Deck again.” A third chimed in, “So happy you’re back next week!! We’ve missed our boat daddy!! Hope you are feeling loads better!!”

However, some fans asked Captain Lee to offer his thoughts on how Captain Sandy did in his absence. For instance, viewers felt shocked watching Captain Sandy first fire Camille Lamb and then dismiss Alissa Humber. And though Below Deck episodes showed both Camille’s and Alissa’s issues, some fans felt that firing went too far. 

But Captain Lee turned to Twitter to offer his reason for feeling upset. And Lee noted that he felt shocked Captain Sandy did not tell him before firing his crew. “So I found out after the fact that she [Captain Sandy] fired one of my crew, not before. Ok?”

And Captain Lee questioned why Captain Sandy behaved the way that she did. “Then why contact me after and tell me at all? Plenty of time to call me after, but not before. She made the right call. But lacked in procedure and respect. Just the way I roll,” added the stud of the sea.

And the long-time Below Deck captain shared how he would have handled a similar situation. “Had I been replacing Captain Sandy on her boat temporarily and felt the necessity to fire one of her crew, I would have called her first.” And Lee shared that he would have informed Sandy “what I was doing and why. I agree with her decision, just not how she went about it,” added Captain Lee.
