Derick Dillard Is The DA In ‘Tiger King’ Crossover Case?

Jill Duggar’s husband Derrick Dillard went back to school and passed his bar exam, but not all Counting On fans were aware of that. The former TLC stars relocated to Siloam Springs, Oklahoma and he was sworn in as a prosecutor. Now, as a DA, he’s involved in a trial against Tiger King alum, Joshua Dial.

Derrick Dillard Won Some Admirers 

Counting On fans decided they hated Jill Duggar’s husband after he expressed his feelings about Jazz Jennings on TLC. But, he started being outspoken about Jim Bob Duggar and his brother-in-law, Josh. Additionally, he worked a food delivery job while he studied at law school. So, TLC fans started praising him for creating a better future for his family. 

The crossover between the Netflix show, Tiger King and Derick Dillard from Counting On, surprised a lot of TLC fans this week. Of course, there were more people than just Exotic Joe in the Netflix docuseries. Joshua Dial appeared in several scenes. If you don’t know, he was campaigning for Exotic Joe to run for governor in 2017.

Jill Duggar’s Husband Is The DA In Joshua Dial’s Case

The news that the former TLC star would be the DA in a trial case against Netflix star Joshua Dial arrived on Reddit. There, information from the Oklahoma State Court Network revealed the involvement of Jill Duggar’s husband.

TLC Fans React 

In the comments section, some Counting On fans seemed surprised that Derick Dillard had made it to DA. Meanwhile, others rubbished it because his district is small. However, others admitted that they admired his career change. Here are a few of those reactions:

• No matter what my other thoughts about him are, I’m happy to see him actually working and supporting his family with a well-paying job.
• Yep…after seeing stories about the Duggars not having proper licenses to do their jobs, Derick actually has a legit bar license.
• I still think he’s a douche and at least a bit weird, but I’ll always have some respect for him for having the drive and dedication to commit to a law degree and qualify and work as a lawyer.

What Are The Charges Against Tiger KIng’s Joshua Dial?

According to Starcasm, the Netflix star, who witnessed Exotic Joe’s boyfriend shoot himself, allegedly committed a crime that is considered a “misdemeanor.” The outlet explained:

[Joshua Dial] has been charged by The State of Oklahoma on 3 counts: 2 counts of DOMESTIC ABUSE – ASSAULT & BATTERY and 1 count of RESISTING AN OFFICER. This crime is considered to be at the ‘Misdemeanor‘ level.
