Jenelle Evans, Teen Mom Alum, Wants To Be On Bachelorette

Teen Mom alum Jenelle Evans was thought to be in talks to return to the MTV franchise. However, it seems that she also aspires to be on The Bachelorette, or any other dating show with good ratings. Read on to find out more.

Speaking with Evan Real and Danny Murphy on Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast this week, Jenelle talked about her divorce party and mentioned it was time to find “happiness” after nearly a decade with David Eason. And, she’s looking for love again.

The conversation moved on to other reality TV shows, and the mom of Jace Evans, Kaiser, and Ensley said that she applied to be on Love Island. However, she hasn’t heard back from them yet. The former MTV star has her eye on some of the cast members.

Still, Jenelle Evans is a bit wary about exploring a new relationship. She added, “But I’m scared, I don’t even know if I want to go on it…” Well, that doesn’t really jibe with other things that she said during the podcast. That’s because she spoke about The Bachelorette.

Being The Bachelorette?

Clearly wanting more screentime, Jenelle also told Evan and Danny that she would consider Love Island, and she’s got no issues with her kids liking the idea or not, as “they don’t watch it.” With that application in, she also has other ideas. The mom of three said, “I would like to do a Bachelorette-type show.”

That’s interesting because for that, she would most likely need to be on The Bachelor. Furthermore, limiting social media might be hard for Jenelle, who is constantly on it. If she made it, then certainly, Jenelle would be the first contestant who is divorced ahead of the show, and raising three kids. Then, they also look for contestants who are there for the right reasons. Would it just be a job or a genuine search for love? It’s anyone’s guess right now.

Viewers React In The Comments

It doesn’t seem as if fans are that interested in Jenelle being on a dating show. Out of nearly 700 viewers so far, only three comments have arrived. One of them was nice about the former reality TV star. They wrote, “I respect Jenelle’s journey…..It’s great to see your maturity and how far you have come. Keep pushing forward!”

Another commenter said, “Waiting for the Bri Olsen collab.” There’s not much excitement, and it seems strange that a lack of interest certainly seems to be the order of the day about David’s ex finding love on TV. Maybe she could do a Kate Gosselin show like Kate Plus Date, and just line the guys up like Skittles, date them, and dump them.
