Kroy Biermann and Kim Zolciak feel that good parenting requires putting their marriage first. And the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum, 41, explained how she and her former professional football player hubby, 34, stay united when their kids make demands. “There’s no trying to pit us against each other,” Kim told Us magazine.

And the RHOA alum shared that their kids know not to try dividing and conquering when it comes to their parents. “There’s none of that stuff. They know that our foundation is really, really solid,” added Zolciak.

But above all, the RHOA alum underscored her belief in prioritizing her marriage to Kroy. “Our marriage comes first. I know a lot of people get on me when I say this,” Kim admitted. “But it really does. I don’t feel like we could be great parents if we didn’t put our marriage first. Our kids are not able to go to me and say, ‘Mom, can I have… ?’ I’ll say, ‘Did you ask Dad?’ And they know, they need to say ‘yes’ or ’no’.”

But while the RHOA alum feels clear on why she prioritizes her marriage, Kim also has reflected on expanding her flock. She and Biermann, also known for Don’t Be Tardy, tied the knot in 2011. And the RHOA alums share four children together: Kroy Jr., 8, Kash, 7, and twins Kaia and Kane, 6. However, the former pro football player also adopted Kim’s daughters Brielle, 23, and Ariana, 18, from her previous relationship.

And Zolciak has reflected on whether to welcome more children. However, she noted, “Kroy had a vasectomy, so it’s something we’d have to really go and do. … I mean, we probably would’ve had six more if he didn’t!” But Kim admitted that she “would love to have another little boy” because she feels “just obsessed” with her sons.

However, Brielle doesn’t support watching her mother get pregnant again. “I think if she got pregnant again, I’d be like, ‘Are you OK? Are you insane?'” shared Brielle. And Kim’s daughter shared, “She’s always like, ‘No odd numbers, we have to have [an] even [number].’ So obviously, there would be an eighth coming — we’re not going to have seven — so this isn’t the end of it! … Don’t have any more kids. We’re jam-packed as it is!”
