Sister Wives Star Gwendlyn Brown Is Excited In A Bad Way

Sister Wives star Gwendlyn Brown has been spilling so much tea as she reacts to Season 17 episodes, that there’s a lot to unpack. Recently, she reviewed Season 17 Episdoe 14 and she talked about the fight between Janelle when she walked out of Kody. Plus she addressed Kody’s concerns about covid-19 and touched on Gabe falling out with his dad. Actually, she said that one aspect of it seemed “exciting” to her but “in a bad way.”

It’s interesting to note that Christine’s daughter seems rather humble about her success on YouTube. Actually, she never expected that so many people would check in to see what she had to say. Those who follow her know that she seems funny, refreshing, and sometimes extremely barbed, especially when it comes to her father, Kody. Actually, when she and her fiance Beatriz Queiroz marry, she intends to drop her dad’s surname and become Gwendlyn Queiroz.

Sister Wives fans get a lot of tea from Gwen and recently, the news emerged that she really can’t stand a lot of things that her father does. For instance, she slammed him for bad-mouthing Christine’s independence. She said at the time, “What’s she supposed to do? Just sit in the corner and braid her hair?” Plus she felt that Kody often applied “double standards.” In her latest podcast, she touched on different standards again.

From the way that she talks, Gwen has given a glimpse into the lives of the girls in the family. More than once, she mentioned that they got a raw deal. Even Beatriz mentioned once that she doesn’t like the way he talks to Gwen with such little respect. Gwen’s latest vlog got her detailing the way her dad treated the boys far better than the girls. In fact, discussing Gabe who clashed with her dad over Covid-19 rules, she said, “I think that the women genuinely did not have it as good as the boys had it.”

The Sister Wives star mentioned that there is just “one day” between her birthday and the arrival of Gabe. So, she used him as an example. She continued, saying, “I keep seeing my brothers being like, ‘Our dad’s not this great person and we have this terrible relationship with him.” And yet they didn’t get treated as badly as the females in the family.

Now that the boys are finally getting the same bad  treatment from Kody Brown that the girls experienced, Gwen thinks that it’s “It’s really weird to see.” And then, the Sister Wives star added, “It’s exciting but in a bad way.”  Do you think she’s excited because now the boys understand where the girls are coming from? Is the bad part because she feels sad that her various brothers lost affection for their father?
