And insiders claim the duo have gone from spending their personal time at home to heading to Hollywood, per Page Six.

But sources also reveal that Meghan and Harry seek publicity. For example, the Duchess and Duke of Sussex could have used a so-called “secret celebrity door” at an exclusive private Hollywood club. But the couple headed instead to the front door of the club. And there, Meghan and Harry posed for the paparazzi who awaited them.

The Duke of Sussex, 38, pays $4,200 every year for membership in that elite club. And along with Meghan, he apparently thinks nothing of driving four hours round trip for dinner there. The club membership and visits to Hollywood signal a sea change for Meghan and Harry. The two have enjoyed quietly hanging out in Santa Barbara for about three years in their $14.7 million mansion.

However, Meghan and Harry’s recent public appearance at the private club showed their sense of timing, say insiders. And one club member called it a “bold move.” Those remarks stem from the fact that the two showed up at the private club only hours after King Charles evicted them from Frogmore Cottage.

“I think it was definitely a statement coming on the evening of the Frogmore news,” shared the club member. And others noted that Meghan and Harry have turned to seeking fame and fortune by showing up in Hollywood more often. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex beamed at photographers as they walked into the private club. 

“I know that San Vincente has a back door for celebrities, so no one needs to see you coming and going. They’re really all about privacy,” shared the club member. “They have way bigger stars than Harry and Meghan coming in and no one will ever know they’re there. But Harry and Meghan said, ‘We’re fine’ and that they didn’t need to use it. And even when they left, they used the main entrance.”

But Harry and Meghan enjoyed their time inside the club. For instance, they talked to other celebrities such as Kate Hudson. And though the two ordered an impressive array of food, they only ate tiny amounts. 

Beyond hanging out at private Hollywood clubs, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have spent time in Los Angeles talking with Netflix about new projects. And they also enjoy dining with their friends. As a result of their higher profile visits to Los Angeles, Meghan and Harry have become a topic of conversation. 

“People are so mixed on them, it’s interesting. Some people are all about them,” noted one Hollywood insider. “And some people think they’re just bizarre. But the town is so woke that you can’t say anything about anyone without offending someone.”
