Royal Family News: Prince Harry Says That The British Tabloids Wanted Him To Stay Single

Prince Harry claims that being single was better business for the tabloid media. In his court case against the British tabloids, the royal says that he believes many newspapers sold better stories whenever he was single and that might be one of the reasons why they often tried to interfere in his relationships, and especially whenever he was with someone who was very high-profiled, like his ex Chelsea Davy. In his court case against the Mirror Group Newspapers, Harry speculated that the British tabloids preferred to see him single rather than in a relationship, because that usually generated more interest and revenue for their papers.

He put it this way, “I always felt as if the tabloids wanted me to be single, as I was much more interesting to them and sold more newspapers. Whenever I got into a relationship, they were very keen to report the details but would then, very quickly, seek to try and break it up by putting as much strain on it and creating as much distrust as humanly possible… This twisted objective is still pursued to this day even though I’m now married.”

The Duke of Sussex also added, “At no point did I have a girlfriend or a relationship with anyone without the tabloids getting involved and ultimately trying to ruin it using whatever unlawful means at their disposal.”

Harry also claimed that nothing was “off limits” when it came to the British tabloids and the scandalous ways they tried to pry into his personal life.

He said that whenever he was in a relationship, “the whole person’s family, and often their friends, would be dragged into the chaos and find themselves the subject of unlawful activity on the part of MGN.”

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about Prince Harry’s court case, although at this point, it’s doubtful that anything will be said. Watch this space.
