Sam Heughan – Still Looking For the One

Sam Heughan is popularly known for playing Jamie Fraser on the hit TV series Outlander opposite Caitriona Balfe (Claire Randall).

“I’ve done all of the gift-giving and turning up when least expected, but, so far, I’m still looking,” Sam Heughan shared.

Despite being single as of now, the Outlander star dated a couple of women in the past. From 2016 to 2018, he was reportedly dating former Bold & Beautiful star MacKenzie Mauzy. They attended the 2017 Oscar party together, as reported by Marie Claire. However, their relationship ended in Spring 2018.

The Outlander star also reported dated writer and model Cody Kennedy (2014), Irish actress Amy Shiels of Twin Peaks (2018), and Australian model Monika Clarke (2022).

Sam Heughan told Drew Barrymore when he guested in her talk show that his work has made dating quite challenging.

“The job is so all-encompassing and we spend so much time on the set and at work so … but yeah, I’m open to something,” he shared.

Outlander Season 7 – In Full Swing

Meanwhile, fans can catch Sam Heughan in the latest season of Outlander. The show’s seventh season is in full swing, with the first episode airing on Starz on June 16.

Claire and Jamie are placed in the middle of the American Revolution to fight for independence. Sophie Skelton, who plays Brianna Randall, teases a rollercoaster ride in the current season.

Fans can expect shocking twists. “That’s one thing I think we’re really priding ourselves on now for Outlander and really leaning into it – the storylines aren’t necessarily the expected ones,” she responded,” Sophie Skelton told Radio Times.

“So whether you’ve read the books or not, you’re all on a level playing field. We’re gonna play with your emotions and take you on a bit of a rollercoaster ride. So everyone’s in the same boat.”

This season also added new characters, such as Quaker brother and sister Denzell and Rachel Hunter, played by Joey Phillips and Izzy Meikle-Small, respectively, and an all-grown-up William, Jamie’s illegitimate son, played by Charles Vandervaart.
