Outlander Season 6 “Turns The World Upside Down”

Outlander spoilers and updates tease the upcoming season “will turn the world upside down,” according to the show’s executive producer. Outlander season 6 is set to air on Starz on Sunday, March 6. What can fans expect?

The new season is based on Diana Gabaldon’s sixth book of the Outlander franchise, titled A Breath of Snow and Ashes.” Season five touched a part of the said book but season 6 will tackle the remaining content of the book.

Maril Davis, the Outlander executive producer, considered book six as “The book that keeps on giving.” She said it contained a lot of source material and amazing characters. It tells the story of an amazing couple and a great love story.

Davis also talked about the main characters, Caitriona Balfe plays Claire and Sam Heughan is Jamie.

“Sam and Caitriona, from the outset, even from their first chemistry read, just had an easy way with each other and got along so well together,” she said.

She continued to say that both characters have respect and trust for each other and they share a great friendship, which is very evident on screen.

Outlander Spoilers – Matthew Roberts Talk About Outlander Season 6

Matthew Roberts, who’s also an executive producer of the show, teased that “bad things will happen to good people.”

“We’re gonna turn the world upside down a little bit. Season six is revolution time in the colonies and at Fraser’s Ridge,” he hinted.

Fans can expect to see two factions arise in the new season. One belongs to Jamie and his group while the other one is the group of new settlers. Roberts said that fans will continue to fall in love with the characters and they will join them in their upcoming journey.

Aside from Davis and Roberts, the other executive producers of the show are Ronald D. Moore, Toni Graphia, Andy Harries, and Jim Kohlberg.

Outlander Spoilers – Sophie Skelton Opens Up About Outlander Season 6

Sophie Skelton, who portrays Briana Frazer, says that her character, as well as her alter ego’s husband, comes from the future. They can’t tell their closest family and friends that they know what will happen. They can’t warn them or stop what’s happening. All these give the show an interesting element that viewers don’t always get to see in time travel shows.

The actress also hinted that Outlander season 6 will feature the revolution. When asked if her alter ego will see more of her half-brother, the actress didn’t divulge that much so as not to let out any spoilers. She just hinted that they won’t be seeing the last of him although they’ll be more focused on dealing with the revolution,
