TLC ’90 Day Fiancé – Happily Ever’ After Spoilers: Angela Deem Talks About Fame At 54

TLC -90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After -Angela DeemTLC’s “90 Day Fiancé-Happily Ever After” star Angela Deem recently spoke about fame at age 54, and how her authenticity fuels her popularity. She also said that there have been times that social media made her second-guess her relationship with Michael Ilesanmi.

TLC 90 Day Fiance Spoilers – Angela Talks About Scenes From Recent Episodes

Angela talks about scenes from recent episodes, starting with the scene from a recent episode, “Ultimatums and Ugly Truths” when in Nigeria, where Angela had recently arrived so she and Michael could get married, he took her to see an expatriate friend of his, Dawa, who had moved to the United States but decided he liked Nigeria better and moved back, with an ulterior motive of getting Angela to stay in Nigeria.

But when they got to the meeting place, Dawa had not arrived yet and there were three women, apparently friends of Dawa, because Michael denied knowing them; Angela misunderstood that Michael was in a relationship with one or more of the women behind her back, and stormed off after going ballistic on Michael. She was livid as she told him if he wanted to play games, he should find himself a 30-year-old girl to play games with!

Then, to the producers, she admitted she thought that Michael could be scamming her; that is how their relationship had begun online, after all, he had catfished her! Then back to the scene, when she tells him she wants to be away from him and there’s not going to be a marriage!

Angela Says She’s Always Been A Star – Sarcastically

Angela then tells the producers on camera that honestly, she’s always been a star – but her sarcasm shows as she laughs! She says at the end of the day – she’s just herself, and what you see is what you get. She knows some things are about herself aren’t good, although others are great. She says she’s a real reality person!

That is just who she is, she’s normal, she has a bad temper at times, she’s lovely sometimes and other times she’s unbearable – but that is who she is. Then she says she’s really in menopause and laughs again! Women can get very moody when hormonal things are going on, and there’s nothing much more hormonal than menopause!

The scene cuts to another recent episode when she was in the gynecologist’s office getting her endometrial biopsy done, which for her was very painful and the doctor had to administer laughing gas to be able to complete the biopsy. Then she talks again to producers, philosophizing who becomes a reality star at 52, and now she’s 54. She says she’s very grateful to him (presumably the TLC producer) and if it ends tomorrow, she’d never regret having had the opportunity.

She never thought she’d make it through season one, let alone a season two, three, and four! She started in season one, did what she was supposed to do, and didn’t care what people thought, whether they liked her or not, and didn’t even know how to ask for the stardom of it, let alone intended to.

TLC 90 Day Fiance Spoilers – Angela Is Herself And That’s All She Will Ever Be

Like Popeye, Angela is what she is and that’s all that she is! In another clip from a recent episode, she and Michael are talking to a woman who is telling her that as a Nigerian wife, she has to be very submissive to her husband, and Angela is adamant that she’s not doing it –she’s accepted for who she is, and they can take it or leave it; in Angela and Michael’s apartment, they are in the kitchen and he tells her to put her hands down and she dares him to make her!

Then she talks some more about Michael to the interviewer – she gets it, because at the beginning, before the show, when she and Michael fell in love, and then through the show, she started reading comments about herself and Michael on social media. She said she’d be lying if she said some of them didn’t get to her because then she starts wondering why a man so much younger than herself would be looking at her that way!

Then once again the scene cuts to her and Michael talking in the bedroom of their apartment in Nigeria, with her saying at the end of the day it is what it is. Michael tells her those kinds of comments will just make them prove the naysayers that much wrong. Angela then tells the interviewer that she and Michael are faking nothing, and they are real and so is their relationship, through arguments, and difficulties because of the physical distance between them, and it’s harder for anyone in a long-distance relationship like that because it’s not like you can rush over to your significant other’s house across town to make up!

Sometimes they’re on the phone and can’t see each other’s face or body language and one or the other won’t respond to each other. She says they really won’t know anything until they get there (presumably meaning married). She knows they are still in love and when he gets to the United States she doesn’t see anything bad happening, but she doesn’t take anything for granted either.
