Young and The Restless Comings and Goings: Jess Walton Making A 2019 Comeback

We’ve got exciting news for Jess Walton fans. The beautiful daytime television actress has just said that she is willing to return to The Young and the Restless, on a more permanent basis, especially if writers give her character a good comeback in a future storyline. Jess is best known for portraying Jill Foster Atkinson on the hit show.

According to the Soap Opera Network, Jess loves the show so much that she is hoping that the executive producer and head writer Mal Young will make some room for Jill to come back. As a matter of fact, Jess recently called him a “wonderful man” that she loves to work with.

The veteran actress has been taking some time off from the soap to take care of her husband, John James, who has been ill for a while. But now that he is on the mend, Jess is making her way back on The Young and the Restless for 2019. After all, it’s the one place that she’s called her television home for years now.

Jess puts it this way, “How great is this? To have a job that I love on this wonderful soap that I’ve been a part of for maybe 31 years now and this wonderful man, Mal [Young, the show’s former executive producer and head writer], who makes it so easy for me and he really treats me with a lot of respect and he’s always telling me that the audience loves me.”
