Young and the Restless Day Ahead Spoilers for Monday, January 28: Victor’s Disturbing Discovery – Abby’s Engagement – Nick Learns Whole JT Truth

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) begins with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) greets Nick (Joshua Morrow), as she reveals the guest room was very comfortable. Nick doesn’t know what to believe as Phyllis reiterates that Sharon (Sharon Case) is just as involved in JT’s (Thad Luckinbill) death as Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle). She suggests since he doesn’t believe her, they should all settle it for once and for all.
Abby (Melissa Ordway) comes with Arturo (Jason Canela), thrilled to see her dad, Victor (Eric Braeden); both feel the charges are bogus as Victor feels the ankle monitor lets him spend more time with his family. Abby announces that her and Arturo are engaged, Victor doesn’t look pleased.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victor Not Impressed With Abby’s News
Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) is making coffee, when she was thinking about everything from the day before, saying it was perfect; but Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) wants to know what is bothering her. Victor reminds Abby of everything Arturo did, but is not going to stand by and watch Abby get hurt. Arturo wants the chance to prove that he loves Abby. Victor pulls out a pre-nup from his briefcase and asks him to sign it, shocking both Abby and Arturo.
Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Jack (Peter Bergman) feel Mrs. Martinez really outdid herself with dinner table; but Kyle reveals Lola (Sasha Calle) might not make it as she has a potential business opportunity she couldn’t pass up. Billy (Jason Thompson) walks in and is surprised when Jack shares that Kerry (Alice Hunter) lied to him; both feel that Jack shouldn’t judge Kerry by what Phyllis has done to him and he should really give her another chance. Kerry is at Jabot when Jack calls her, inviting her to the engagement party to which she quickly agrees to; once again you can see the syringe in Kerry’s purse.
Rey isn’t convinced that Mia is okay, but she insists she only has a headache. He tells her that he is taking the day off since it is their honeymoon and he really just wants to show her how good a husband he can be. Mia pulls away, wishing she wasn’t feeling this way. He takes her to the couch, saying he is going to take care of her whether she wants him to or not.
Abby is furious with Victor, wondering if he carries a bunch of these around in case of emergency. Arturo willingly signs it, saying the only reason he is marrying Abby is because he loves her. Victor wishes them the best of luck and a LONG engagement.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Nick Demands Truth From Cover-up Crew
Nick confronts Sharon, Nikki, Victoria and Phyllis about the truth. Sharon finds there is no point in denying it now as Phyllis says it is every woman for themselves. He can’t get over the hypocrisy from all of them; he wants the entire truth and together they will decide what to do next.
Abby and Arturo arrive at the Abbott manse, when she reveals that Victor had Arturo sign a prenup. Jack hopes he told Victor to shove it, but Jack says on the Abbott side he doesn’t need to prove anything and everyone welcomes him with open arms. Arturo says Abby really needed this after what Victor did to them; he asks Arturo to call Rey and Mia to help celebrate in their love. Abby looks disgusted but doesn’t say anything. Rey tells Mia about the party, but Mia felt they ruined their vow renewal as all eyes were on them and Arturo was selfish. Mia doesn’t like that Rey says they were the last things on his mind when he asked Abby to marry him.
The women sit with Nick and recount the night, right from when Sharon organized the girls’ night and everyone began to open up with Victoria revealing JT abused her. Unfortunately, JT showed up and no one else knew he was there as she told him she was done with him, ordering him off the property. While Victoria pulled herself together, JT snuck through the bathroom window she was terrified and after accusing her of all kinds of things the truth finally came out about him harming Victor. JT was irate about what Victor did to Colleen and how he didn’t deserve to live; they begin to struggle and when the women hear the noises from downstairs that is when Nikki came upstairs and saw JT trying to hurt Victoria, she just grabbed the poker and whacked him. She didn’t mean to kill him, but he was hurting her.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Nick Learns EVERYTHING About JT Murder
No matter how they felt about each other, they were in this together and unwilling to let Christine (Lauralee Bell) take the Newmans down. They rolled JT’s body in a rug and drove to Chancellor Park where they buried him. Nikki burned the rug as Phyllis got rid of the phone and poker; but everyday they have been worried about someone learning the truth. Phyllis says they hated lying to him, but didn’t have a choice.
Sharon reveals Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) know too. When asked, Nick learns one of the files he had belonged to JT’s video footage. They ask Nick to trust them when they know it isn’t Tessa who is blackmailing them. Phyllis confesses that she kept the poker, but didn’t put it on the ranch to set Victor up. Nick agrees because he knows Phyllis wouldn’t hurt him like that. Jack messages Nick to remind him about Abby’s engagement party; Victoria insists that they still attend as Nick demands that Victor doesn’t know Phyllis and Sharon’s involvement in this. As he leaves, Nick tells a grateful Phyllis they will talk later but Sharon calls her a “lying, conniving bitch!”
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Abby’s Awkward Engagement Party
Mia and Rey arrive at the Abbotts where Billy and Jack greet them; Rey is happy that Lola isn’t there so she doesn’t get any ideas. Abby comes down in a gorgeous white outfit as Mia accepts her glass of red wine. Mia questions her on whether she is using new makeup; Nick and Victoria walk in as Billy becomes very sarcastic when it comes to marital advice. Dinner is served, with Abby thanking both Nick and Victoria for coming.
Victor reads a book to Johnny about King Arthur, while Katie plays on the ground.
Back at the engagement party, Jack didn’t want to miss out on a chance to celebrate. Billy says he needs to be in love to join this crazy family; everyone toasts them and their engagement. Nick represents the Newman family, telling Arturo he is getting a great girl who is a handful and awesome. He hopes they have a long and happy life together. Victoria talks about their ups and downs, wishing they were closer as siblings and loves her, admitting she is proud of her and wishing them a lifetime of happiness. Mia says this calls for more wine as Kerry leaves the table. Mia says its time to hear from the Rosales side as Rey cautions her. Mia feels someone should talk about how great a guy Arturo is.
Phyllis swears that she didn’t place the fire poker at Nikki’s and thought it was a duplicate but when she went to check on the original it wasn’t there. Phyllis reminds them it was the two of them who blabbed everything as Nikki and Phyllis go head to head about the secret. Sharon says if they don’t keep it together, they are all going to prison, making sure Nikki keeps her promise not to tell Victor anything.
Victor finishes reading and realizes that Kate is not playing on the floor anymore. He tells Johnny to stay put as he goes to look for her. Meanwhile, Mia requests more wine as Rey talks about watching Arturo grow up, swearing he was trying to give him a heart attack half the time. He acknowledges how their father walking out on them hurt him and knows what it took for him to take this leap and happy someone will put up with him. He wishes them both the very best.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Mia Can’t Hide Her Unhappiness
Mia says it is her turn as she says she is very happy for Arturo and Abby, as the Abbotts have been warm and gracious welcoming Arturo. Abby is welcome in their family, as they are the same. They have their challenges, their secrets but underneath it all, they have love; something she saw at their vow renewal. It must be hard to impress a woman who has everything – except a great makeup person. She says it is a joke and says they both look amazing, Arturo is glowing, especially since he is moving up in the world. She pours herself more wine, congratulating them and everyone. Rey pulls back her chair as she whispers for Abby to call her for help with her makeup.
Everyone moves to the living room as Billy suggests Jack could thank him but Jack feels Kerry really isn’t here since she has been on the phone almost all night. Jack questions whether he knows Kerry at all. He finds Kerry’s bag with the needle inside it. Abby is frustrated with Mia, deciding she is not going to ignore this, saying if Arturo doesn’t talk to Mia; she will. Rey tells Mia there is no excuse for her rudeness.
She says this marriage means more to Arturo than Abby; insisting she knows the type who uses people like Arturo to piss off Daddy. She worries that after what him and Arturo have been through, she doesn’t want to see him with a broken heart. Rey knows she cares about his brother, but he can take care of himself.

Phyllis sits with Sharon and Nikki feeling they need to figure out who has been tormenting her. Nikki says it is almost like someone has been watching them this whole time. Victor walks in on Kate talking to her friend, that supposedly grandparents can’t see. Victor tells her it is bedtime and they wave to the invisible friend.
