Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Phyllis Faces Two Threats – Jabot and Coverup Crew Dangers Build

Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) has trouble at work and within her personal life on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Heading Jabot provoked more than one expected foe from the jump and the J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) mess seemingly is never-ending. Both threats are real and must be thwarted, as either could bring Phyllis tumbling down.

Billy (Jason Thompson) was crossed by the woman he convinced himself he loved. Phyllis never rose about Vickie (Amelia Heinle) in his heart and likely never will. But one of the Jabot heirs did honestly care for Tognoni’s character and still holds some type of immeasurable feelings for the revived ‘Red’.

As viewers recently saw, Billy wanted to schmooze an outside executive in hopes of scoring business and impressing the board of directors. He clued Kyle (Michael Mealor) into the scheme, but both Abbott’s were quickly quashed when Phyllis learned what was happening. Her knowledge gain was very soapy, but flowed with being the Jabot head, at least for the time being.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Billy Still In Phyllis’ Orbit

Whether ‘Philly’ will revive is unknowable, as both halves of this former couple enter their revisit with hidden agendas. However, these two engaging Genoa City residents clearly still have chemistry. That means anything is possible, from a quickie re-engagement to an all out personal war.

While the Billy-based drama plays on, Phyllis remains entangled in a Y&R arc that may extend into next year. J.T. was accidentally killed in mid-April. Phyllis foolishly made herself the fixer, creating what became an initial four-lady coverup crew.

The expansion of those who are aware of Mr. Hellstrom’s fate makes the lives of the original quartet ever more dangerous. The amount of crimes Phyllis has willingly involved herself in places her in jeopardy of not only being removed as Jabot’s Chief Executive Officer, but more importantly, going to jail.

Billy could easily turn on Phyllis if (when) he learns what happened to J.T., though doing so would also sink Vickie. So it feels possible that the reboot of ‘Philly’ might be a tease whereby Billy plays hero, helping the coverup crew, and then potentially returns to Phyllis for real.
