Chris Noth, famed for portraying Mr. Big in “Sex And The City,” now faces a fifth woman’s sexual assault allegations. But the actor appeared unfazed, seen smiling in Massachusetts sporting a jaunty beanie, noted Fox News. Noth has denied all the sexual assault allegations thus far.
Learn more about the allegations below. And discover the ramifications of the actor’s sexual assault scandal as well.
Chris Noth Denies Sexual Assault Allegations Amid Career Hit
Seen taking a walk in Massachusetts, Chris Noth stayed warm with a jacket and jaunty cap. His smile showed no indication of the ongoing scandal. But the sexual assault allegations have taken a toll on the “Sex And The City” actor’s career despite his denials of all charges.
Thus far, Noth has gotten dropped by his talent agency and cut from “The Equalizer,” reported CNN. “Chris Noth will no longer film additional episodes of The Equalizer, effective immediately,” stated CBS and the drama’s production company, Universal Television. However, the 67-year-old “Sex And The City” star will appear in a previously filmed upcoming episode as well as any future reruns.
In addition, Noth’s talent agency, A3 Artists Agency, dropped the actor. And the career hits don’t stop there. Peloton had unveiled a popular commercial featuring Noth. But in the wake of the sexual assault allegations, the company stopped airing the ad. The fallout comes amid the actor’s denial of all accusations.
“The accusations against me made by individuals I met years, even decades, ago are categorically false. These stories could’ve been from 30 years ago or 30 days ago — no always means no — that is a line I did not cross. The encounters were consensual. It’s difficult not to question the timing of these stories coming out. I don’t know for certain why they are surfacing now, but I do know this: I did not assault these women,” stated Noth.
Meet The Fifth Woman Accusing Chris Noth Of Sexual Assault
To date, five women have stepped up to accuse Noth of sexual assault. And although some of the women have remained anonymous, the fifth woman provided her name. Lisa Gentile, 49, works as a singer and songwriter, reported the Syracuse News. In a virtual news conference Thursday with attorney Gloria Allred, Lisa alleged that the actor abused her at her New York City apartment about 20 years ago.
After the two became acquainted as regular visitors to Manhattan restaurant Da Marino Ristorante Italiano, Chris reportedly gave Lisa a ride home in 2002. Lisa described the actor asking to visit her apartment. As she showed him her kitchen and offered wine, Gentile (then 29) alleged that Noth forcibly kissed her and put his hands under her shirt. She attempted to push him away.

“He was slobbering all over me. I quickly became uncomfortable,” stated Lisa. After allegedly screaming, “No, I don’t want this,” the singer claimed that the actor got angry. Labeling her a “tease” and a “b*tch,” Noth allegedly stormed out of her apartment.
In the news conference, Gentile explained why she waited nearly two decades to describe what allegedly happened. “I was afraid to come forward because of Mr. Noth’s power and his threats to ruin my career,” explained Lisa. “I’m speaking out now in support of the other four women who have courageously come forward before me. I feel that we should have our day in court to seek to hold Mr. Noth accountable for what he did.”
