Sarah Jessica Parker Shares Sweet Tribute To Husband Matthew Broderick On Their 26th Anniversary: ‘Miles We Have Strolled’

A year after celebrating the Silver Jubilee of their marriage, Sarah Jessica Parker and her husband Matthew Broderick celebrates another year of their marriage.

The 26th year anniversary of their marriage was nothing short of amazing for the couple, and Sarah did well to make the day phenomenal for her husband by posting a beautiful tribute to him on social media.

Sarah’s post to Matthew reads, “Happy 26th anniversary, my husband,” Parker wrote on Instagram. “That sure was a nice celebration and a real nice bottle of champagne. And a gorgeous walk home.”

She concluded her post with “Oh the miles we have strolled together, I love you. XOX, your SJ.” Their friends and well-wishers trooped into the comments to felicitate with them.

From Andy Cohen, Sarah’s walking buddy who commented with four red heart emojis, to Sarah’s “Sex and the City” co-star Mario Cantone who wrote, “Happy Anniversary to both of you!!”

A fan even said, “And just like that… 26 years went by,” in reference to the upcoming season two of “Sex and the City” spinoff.

Sarah and Mathew’s marriage produced three children, twin girls, Tabitha and Marion both 13 years old, and a son James, 20.

Last year, during an interview on “Watch What Happens Live,” Mathew told host Andy Cohen that the second he laid his eyes on Sarah for the very first time, he knew she would become his wife.

“Oh, the first time I met her, I saw her walking down the street and thought ‘That’s it.'” When asked what it is about his wife that he admires most, without wasting time or giving it a second thought, Mathew answered, “Humor and wisdom.”

The couple is well known for keeping their relationship off camera, however, last year, the couple starred in a Broadway play “Plaza Suite,” and during the media rounds, Mathew found the questions he got about his marriage “very scary.”

Speaking with “The Hollywood Reporter,” Mathew said, “I’ve always said one of the reasons we’ve had success is because we don’t talk about our marriage,”

“I’m not flattering myself that anyone’s discussing my marriage, but we’re certainly not going to add to it by saying, ‘Well, this is why it works.’ Next thing you know, there’ll be a very public divorce. So we just try to respect each other.”
