Coronation Street Alina Pop Leaves Weatherfield With Pregnancy Bombshell

Coronation Street has revealed a huge plot twist for the beautician Alina Pop as she’s pregnant with Tyrone’s child, but has decided to leave Weatherfield for good.

Alina (Ruxandra Porojnicu) has been often put to one side despite her recent miscarriage provoked by Fiz Brown’s pyromaniac child Hope (Isabella Flanagan). She’s been jealous of Tyrone’s previous family as Tyrone has been giving his full attention to them, especially that Hope needs his intervention and guidance as she undergoes therapy.

Her pain was replaced with excitement when she thought Tyrone had asked her to marry him, as the latter expressed he envisioned to start anew with her. Little did she know it was a blunder.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Alina Pops Reaches The End Of Her Rope

However, Wednesday’s (September 15) episode saw Alina reach the end of her rope with Tyrone confessing his real feelings towards her.

It started when Hope apologized for starting the fire in her flat and confessed to all other fires she started as well. Alina was gutted to know the child was capable of doing such, but was horrified when she learned Tyrone knew it all, but kept it a secret from her.

Feeling betrayed, she confronted him about the other secrets he’s been hiding, and Tyrone, who’s consumed by guilt, confessed to his feelings for ex Fiz and their recent kiss.

Alina asked him outright if he wished to reunite with his ex: “You’ve got two options. “Yes or no.” But the mechanic struggled to answer, which piqued Alina that their relationship was over.

Alina confided with best friend Emma Brooker (Alexandra Mardell) and dropped another bombshell news that she’s pregnant again and had planned to tell her ex that same day.

When Alina’s about to leave the Street, Emma revealed the news to Tyrone, who was clueless. Indecisive, Tyrone changed his mind again and begged her to stay.

However, Alina had made up her mind and refused to give him another chance.

“I just want to be involved in the kid’s life. We can come to some sort of arrangement,” Tyrone pleaded.

After all what had happened, Alina knew she had to protect the child: “Over my dead body,” she declared.

‘Why would I let you anywhere near this baby? You’re in denial Tyrone, can’t you see? Everyone else can! You’ve done a rubbish job of bringing up your two kids, so I’m asking you again: why would I let you anywhere near mine?’

The scene ended with Alina getting in the taxi to leave the cobbles and her ex brokenhearted. Will Tyrone do something to stop her? Or will he divert his attention to sabotaging Fiz’s blooming relationship with Phil?
