Amy Schumer Calls Hilaria Baldwin A Sociopath

Shots fired, indeed. Amy Schumer certainly didn’t hold back when she had some very choice words for Alec Baldwin’s wife, Hilaria Baldwin.

While it’s been a few years since anyone has mentioned the fact that Hilaria has been faking her Spanish accent for many long years, Amy reminded everyone of the controversy and even went as far as to call the former yoga instructor a sociopath. Here’s what you need to know.

As many fans know, Hilaria took a break from social media back in 2020 after internet sleuths raised questions about her claims of Spanish heritage.

Hilaria also claimed that she was the victim of cultural appropriation after she was outed for not being Spanish, as she previously hinted. Amy seemed to bring that point up again in her new special called Emergency Contact.

Amy said, “Do you guys know who Hilaria Baldwin is? I’m saying it wrong. I’m sorry. Hilaria Baldwin. I just can’t wrap my head around this story.”

The comedian and actress went on to say that she met Hilaria several years ago while she was backstage at Saturday Night Live. She claims that Hilaria told her that she was from Spain, and that she also said it with a very thick accent.

Amy continued, “They have a von Trapp amount of children, and they named them all – I’m not sure, but very Spanish names like Jamón, Croqueta and Flamenco. And all of this would be fine and beautiful, except that ‘Hilaria from España’ is actually Hillary from Boston. This woman is in no way Spanish. Her parents are not from Spain. No one in her life is from Spain. You’re going, ‘What?!’ Did you think I was just doing a really racist Spanish impression?”

She continued, “So, I’m not trying to bully a sociopath. I have a point, OK?. I think what had happened was she went to Spain. And I’ve been lucky enough to go to Spain. Some of you have been. It’s great, right? Don’t you love it? I loved it, too. But Hillary from Boston … loooved it!” Schumer reverts to the Spanish accent before declaring “I am going to be from it! My point is that all evidence points to this woman, since she met her husband, has straight up pretended to be from Spain.”

We have a feeling that Alec Baldwin is going to have something to say about this real soon. Watch this space.
