If there’s anything that we’ve learned about Kris Jenner, it’s that she doesn’t do anything unless there’s a solid reason for it. There’s a new report that suggests the Kardashian family matriarch is now kissing up to Tristan Thompson, despite his rocky history with her daughter, Khloe Kardashian.

That’s because she has a plan to help spike up her dragging ratings for their Hulu show, The Kardashians. Here’s what you need to know.

According to the latest edition of The National Enquirer, Kris Jenner is supposedly desperate to revive their struggling reality television show and wants Tristan’s help with it. She’s currently trying to charm him as much as she can just so Kris can bring him back to the fold.

One source close to the situation even said, “Kris is counting on Tristan to help save the show she’s worked so hard to build. It’s not just money at stake, it’s her ego. She can’t stand the idea of any show of hers failing,” while also adding, “It’s the same tactic she took with Scott Disick and Kanye West even after they betrayed her daughters over and over.”

The insider added, “Kris is willing to turn the other cheek when it comes to Tristan’s repeated infidelities as long as he can bring in viewers!”

The publication goes on to say that Kris didn’t hesitate to pour praise on Tristan when she wished him a happy birthday earlier this month. She wrote at the time, “It has been so great watching you grow as a dad, a friend, a brother, an uncle and a son. We love you very much.”

However, if there is one person who is none too pleased about this plan at all, it’s most definitely Khloe Kardashian. The tipster said, “Kris tends to stick her nose where it doesn’t belong, and Khloe’s bound to put up a stink when she finds out about this.”
