Nikki DeLoach and Warren Christie star in the new Hallmark movie, Our Holiday Story. Airing as part of the feel-good network’s Countdown to Christmas 2024, the movie tells the story of a happily married couple, as they tell their daughter’s boyfriend how they met and fell in love. Our Holiday Story on the Hallmark Channel

According to TV Insider, Our Holiday Story is about a happily married couple, Dave (Christie) and Nel Ammer (DeLoach), who have a guest over for the holidays – their daughter Joanna’s (Sydney Scotia) new boyfriend, Chris Eiker (Gavin Langelo).

As they get to know him, Dave and Nell share the story of how they first met and fell in love. It turns out they met during the holidays, but fate routinely brought them together – and kept them apart. While there were many missed opportunities, they were unaware of the whole situation.

What they both did know is that they made a connection, unlike anything they had experienced before. However, was it in their imagination and did the magic of the Christmas season make their hearts believe they were meant for each other?

Meanwhile, as Dave and Nell tried to find one another, they were oblivious to the fact that work was pairing them together to throw a Christmas festival for their town. While all the missed connections were funny, they later discovered how many times they almost met up. However, despite this, they did eventually meet and fell in love.

As for Chris, he has a different kind of relationship problem. He is ready to tell Jo he loves her, but he doesn’t know how to share his heart. Can he learn from Dave and Nell’s story, and let the magic of the holiday season finally allow him to express his feelings?

As the two couples and their storylines intersect, lessons are learned about communication, honesty, and the capacity for change, in ourselves and in others.

Nikki DeLoach, who plays Nell Ammer has previously starred in Gunfighter’s Moon and Love & Other Drugs, while Warren Christie, who plays Dave Ammer is known for his roles in Alphas and Apollo 18.

Sydney Scotia plays Joanna Ammer and has previously been seen in I Dare You and This Hits Home, while Gavin Langelo, who plays Chris Eiker, has starred in Cold Copy and Superman & Lois.
