When Calls The Heart Hallmark’s When Calls The Heart follows the life of Elizabeth Thacker who was a high society teacher who took a job in the Canadian Wilderness. Elizabeth resides in Hope Valley, formerly known as Coal Valley where she teaches the local children. Developed by Michael Landon Jr. the show is based on the novel from the “Canadian West” series by Janette Oke. Elizabeth moved to Hope Valley where she got into a relationship with Jack Thornton, a Mountie but their romance came to a tragic end after their marriage.

When Calls The Heart Spoilers – The Last Eight Seasons

Over the past eight seasons, fans have seen Elizabeth adapt to life in the Canadian wilderness away from her high society family. Elizabeth has learned to survive in the community helping to teach all of the village children. When Calls The Heart premiered on January 11, 2014. Season Eight found Elizabeth alone because of her husband’s untimely end however she also had two suitors to choose between. Fans were left wondering what Elizabeth was going to do with her life from here. Fans have been very impatient to see what Elizabeth’s decision is and are anxiously awaiting for news of the season premiere and spoilers. So here is what we know so far.

When Calls The Heart Spoilers – Season Nine Details

Season Nine of When Calls The Heart started filming in July. It has been a tradition for the new season to start early in the year so it will probably be released near February. Since there hasn’t been any news about anyone leaving the show we expect that all of the regulars will return. Some people speculate that Lori Loughlin may reprise her role as Abigail Stanton as well.

When Calls The Heart Spoilers – Elizabeth Thorton’s New Life

Last season on When Calls The Heart, Elizabeth chose Lucas Bouchard (Chris McNally) after realizing that she wasn’t in love with Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry). The next day, Elizabeth revealed her decision to Lucas and they ran into each other’s arms. This season we will see Elizabeth move on with her life with Lucas. Hopefully, Nathan will find a new love as well.

Rosemary LeVeaux Coulter (Pascale Hutton) may be taking on more of an editorial role this season. Fans hope to find out more about Faith Carter’s (Andrea Brooks) predicament now that Carson Shepard (Paul Greene) is going to Baltimore for a surgical fellowship. Henry Gowen (Martin Cummins) will leave town and could return with Abigail or at least news from her. Also, the construction of the factory could upset the balance of things in Hope Valley.

Of course, these are just a few of the happenings in Hope Valley in the new season. Things could certainly get interesting if Abigail returns.

    Lori Loughlin is not returning to WCTH. She is, however, going to be on the GAC Channel along with Daniel Lissing in the When Hope Calls christmas special on December 18.
