Neighbours Spoilers – Who Plays Haz?

When new episodes of Neighbours begin airing later this year, the revival will include Shiv Palekar. And producers shared the news about the actor’s role on social media. “Harold’s is under new management! We’re thrilled to announce that Shiv Palekar will be joining us in the new role of Haz Devkar in all new episodes of #Neighbours later this year. (Plus, he’s had the seal of approval from Harold himself…),” read the announcement via Digital Spy.

In addition to the soap teasing the casting of Palekar, Neighbours star Alan Fletcher offered an update on the show’s revival. And Fletcher gushed over the story line for his character of Dr. Karl Kennedy. “The new story lines that they’ve got for these first few weeks of Neighbours are startling,” shared the actor.

And Fletcher admitted that he felt so impressed, he “actually got in contact with our story team by email the other night when I read the latest scripts that I’ve received, just to congratulate them. They’re some of the most innovative and exciting scripts I’ve ever seen in the show on my 28 years.” As a result, the Neighbours star promised that fans can look forward to “an enormous amount.”

Neighbours Spoilers – When Will New Episodes Stream Free?

Because Fletcher feels so enthusiastic about the revival, he took time to encourage viewers to watch. And the Neighbours star feels hopeful that the soap will attract an international audience. But he admitted, “I think it’s going to be quite a change. When Australia found out that Neighbours was ending, we had around 1.5 million people watch the last episode. Now in Australia, that figure is huge and it was the highest-rated program of the night.”

However, Fletcher looks forward to loyal fans of the show becoming interested in the revival. And he commented, “I think the interest that has been generated by Neighbours returning will be sufficient to really bring the audience back up in Australia as well.” Watch for the Neighbours revival to begin airing later in 2023. And the new episodes will stream free on Amazon Freevee in the United Kingdom and United States. However, Network 10 will keep first-run rights in Australia for the revival.
