Bachelorette alum Tyler Cameron certainly knows how to milk the attention of the media, considering his ill-fated journey with Hannah Brown. Plus, he came from just another average family and didn’t make much of a potential footballing career after a shoulder injury. Okay, he’s got the looks, but before the ABC show, hardly anyone knew of him. Well, he ghosted a friend to appear on SNL with Kim Kardashian.

Fans who watched Hannah Brown’s season on ABC knew that she dumped Tyler in favor of Jedd Wyatt. When that fell through, critics felt that she offered Tyler sloppy seconds when she suggested they should go for a date. Well, he went on the date, only to step out with Gigi Hadid shortly thereafter. Clearly, he was done using Hannah’s five minutes of fame for the limelight and looked towards other avenues to stay in the tabloids. And, he has been remarkably successful.

Bachelorette fans swoon over Tyler who boasts so much hotness that many people might envy him. Certainly, he’s a model that gets fans going back for another longing look. Actually, considering he never acted as the lead of the show, or went on to do amazing things in the ABC franchise, he managed very well for himself. Six months ago, Tyler Cameron got a call from SNL and they wanted him to appear in a skit hosted by Kim Kardashian. Well, what would you do? Take the opportunity to make your name glow even brighter? Or, turn it down and go to your friend’s wedding? That was the choice that Tyler faced. If you read his book, “You Deserve Better,” you will know that he’s not the sort of guy to let an opportunity pass him by.

The news that the Bachelorette alum ghosted a friend’s wedding came on The Ellen Degeneres Show. Mario Lopez hosted his interview, and Tyler said that the wedding was for the next night when the call came. So, he just forwarded it to his manager. Well, it turned out that the invite was genuine. But, he felt torn between doing the show or going to the wedding.

It turns out that Bachelorette alum Tyler Cameron seems to have some really nice friends. When he called him up, his friend said, “‘dude, what are you doing here? Get out of here!”
