The late Queen Elizabeth’s dresser, Angela Kelly, is not a huge fan of losing her Windsor home and has a few choice words for the reigning monarch, King Charles. See the telling post she shared on Instagram as she packed out of her Windsor home.
Angela Kelly Says Some People Just Don’t Know How To Be Grateful
Angela Kelly worked in the employ of Queen Elizabeth for almost thirty years before her death in 2022 and was known as her right-hand woman, as she shared a close relationship with the monarch.
She also designed most of her memorable and colorful outfits. As a result of this, the late Queen gifted her a home Windsor.
Shortly after the Queen’s death, it was reported that King Charles had asked Kelly to move out of the home. It is said that due to Kelly’s closeness to his late mother, he gave her a new home in Yorkshire so she can still be close to the family.
It seemed that all was right with the world, and Angela Kelly was willing to comply, but her recent Instagram posts say different.
After pictures recently emerged of the designer packing her belongings from her home in Windsor into a lorry, she took to Instagram to share some cryptic videos and quotes that seem to be directed at the King’s decision to take the home from her.
In one story, she shared a heartfelt line from “Broken Angel” that read: “You are the one. I miss you so much. Now you’re gone.”
In another story, she shared the quote, “No matter how kind and generous you are, you’ll never satisfy an ungrateful person. Learning how to remain calm when you’re disrespected is a superpower.”
Why Did King Charles Kick Out Angela Kelly From Her Lush Windsor Home?
While the Palace didn’t officially explain why the dresser had to leave her Windsor home, fans are speculating that it’s because of the secrets she shared in the updated version of her book, “The Other Side Of The Coin: The Queen, The Dresser And The Wardrobe.” The latest edition revealed “intimate” details of the late monarch behind closed doors.
This was the only one she published without the Queen’s blessings, and it was done shortly after the monarch passed away. While it focuses on the sovereign’s wardrobe, there were sprinkles of royal secrets here and there.
It also comes as reports emerged that she has been “banned” from sharing royal secrets.
A source previously told the Daily Mail: “His concerns were solely about protecting both the dignity of the Queen and the Crown. Nothing has changed with his mother’s death. If anything, he is more determined to defend her reputation and her legacy.”
