Big Brother 25 (BB25) spoilers tease that the week one nomination ceremony went precisely as Reilly Smedley planned.
The Head of Household, Reilly, revealed on livefeeds that she intends to target Kirsten Elwin for eviction, but she needed to put someone next to her as a pawn.
As usual, no one wanted to go on the block as a pawn. It’s a scary situation because everyone knows that pawns go home. If you are on the block, you are risking going home. It doesn’t matter how much the HOH wants to keep you safe.
Reily talked to Jared Fields Thursday night about the upcoming nominations. He did not want to go up as a pawn. He wanted to be safe and promised to work with Reilly if she took him off the block.
Big Brother 25 made it easy for Reilly. On Wednesday’s premiere episode, the season’s first competition put four houseguests on the block – Jared Fields, Kirsten Elwin, Cody Wurtrnberger, and Felica Cannon. Reilly was tasked with “de-nominating” two of the four nominees. The rest of the house was safe from the chopping block.

Reilly talked to Cory about possibly remaining on the block as a pawn. She promised him safety. She explained that someone needed to stay up against Kirsten, reassuring him that he would not leave the house.
Cory was unhappy about the idea of being on the chopping block for week one. He told Reilly he wasn’t comfortable being on the block, urging Reilly to consider keeping Felica on the block. If she promised him safety, perhaps she could offer Felica the same.
After Reilly’s conversation with Cory, she felt conflicted. She reconsidered nominating Cory and decided to leave Felica on the block next to Kirsten.
Big Brother 25 Spoilers: Nomination Ceremony Results Revealed
When the feeds returned at 4:40 pm (Big Brother Time), Big Brother 25 spoilers revealed that Kirsten and Felica are the nominees for week one. Cirie Fields pulled Felica and Izzy Gleicher into the storage room to chat.
She thinks they should fight for the POV (Power of Veto) if picked to play and save Felica. That would force Reilly to put Cory on the block, and they could campaign to evict him on Thursday’s live eviction.
The Power of Veto competition will commence on Saturday, August 5. After the competition, we will better understand the week one target. Until then, the house is coming up with scenarios on the best person to leave the house.
