Big Brother spoilers and updates tease that Big Brother’s newest season, the 25th, is days away. The premiere date is Wednesday, August 2nd at 8:00 om ET on CBS with a 90-minute live move-in.
Big Brother Spoilers – Season 25
Julie Chen Moonves has been teasing for weeks about the new season. Some of the teases were the key wheel, Bowlerina, some BB Comics artwork, a modern chess board on a disco floor, a woodsy theme in some of the BB house, a creepy games room, and a big hunk of cheese. Most recently, three BB alums, Frankie Grande, Britney Haynes, and Danielle Reyes broke into the BB house and revealed a new twist, a time laser. Not sure how that is going to play out. Some BB fans think it might mean that season 25 will go back and play challenges from BB seasons past.
Aside from all the season 25 chatter, Julie has also revealed that she would love to have Kim Kardashian “because she is one of the most beautiful and fascinating women in the world” and Tom Brady as houseguests so they can have a “showmance” together. Not sure about Kim, if she can hold up in a house for more than a day, but Tom would be great and Julie has also mentioned Snoop Dog. Julie admits these three would be her dream houseguests.
Big Brother Updates – Big Brother Hosting
Julie admits that she never thought back in 2000 that Big Brother would become as popular as it has. Having been a part of 25 seasons, she doesn’t see herself making it to 50. In an interview with EW, Julie says, “I don’t know if I’m going to still be on it because I don’t know if I’m still going to be alive, but my guess is I’m not going to be on the show anymore. I would love to pass it on to my son. Not that he has any interest in hosting, but you know, keep it in the family, Big Brother!”
Can you imagine an incredible Big Brother “family” twist like that? Julie passing the torch of her hosting duties on to her son. The last twist of that kind was back when an unknown brother and sister, Nakomis and Cowboy entered the house in season 5.
Julie also predicts in season 50 that, “The house is going to be a maze by the time it goes to season 50. We have to switch it up somehow.” What do you think? How far and how different do you think Big Brother will go in season 50?
