Now Chicago Med spoilers hint that the writers will wrap up the season 7 finale with Christmas tinsel and holiday fun!

Chicago Med Spoilers – ‘Secret Santa Has A Gift For You’

Santa Claus won’t neglect Chicago Med this year. But someone could get coal rather than candy, according to TV Insider‘s spoilers. In the season 7 finale, titled “Secret Santa Has A Gift For You,” Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) once again bears the brunt of Chicago Med’s doom and gloom plot arc.

Dr. Halstead faces two challenges in the last episode of the season. First, Will continues to worry about the investigation. Can he get out from under that burden? We’ll see the toll that the ongoing investigation takes on this good doctor as he tries to shift his focus to a patient who’s just 4 months old. Look for Dr. Dylan Scott (Guy Lockard) to seek to save the ailing baby as well.

But Dr. Halstead isn’t the only one battling to keep his focus on medicine. Both Stevie Hammer (Kristin Hager) and Vanessa Taylor (Asjha Cooper) fight their own worries. Meanwhile, a patient who desperately needs a liver transplant gets help from Crockett Marcel (Dominic Rains), Pamela Blake (Sarah Rafferty) and Sam Abrams (Brennan Brown).

Chicago Med Spoilers – Season 7 Ends With Seasonal Surprise

The season 7 finale for Chicago Med also turns the seasonal spotlight on ever-vigilant Sharon Goodwin (S. Epatha Merkerson). She hopes to bring a lighter note to the hospital, with Dr. Daniel Charles (Oliver Platt) supporting her. But Goodwin will also interact with Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss), who seems fated to cause her trouble.

Santa Claus, where are you? Saint Nick just might secretly help with Will’s mood by bringing Jessa Rinaldi (Angela Wong Carbone) to his side. Mix in enough holiday trimmings to light up more than one hospital, and the fall finale of Chicago Med promises at least a dose or two of Christmas cheer!

NBC will air the season 7 finale for Chicago Med on Wednesday, December 8, 8/7c. That episode will in turn introduce a night filled with One Chicago episodes, including Chicago Fire and Chicago PD. In the wake of the fall finale, Chicago Med will take a short hiatus. Look for the next new episode to return on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at 8:00 p.m.
