Thomas debuted on The Good Doctor as Dr. Claire Brown, a surgical resident, together with Shaun Murphy (Freddie Highmore) and later becomes the latter’s close friend and advisor. Before season 4 ended, Claire decided to remain in Guatemala instead of returning to the U.S, which paved the way for Thomas’ exit from the show.

Thomas also said that she’s open to returning to The Good Doctor, and fans will surely be delighted to know that she’ll be returning soon, even if it’s just for two episodes.
