TV reboot news reveals there are several revivals and reimaginations of original TV shows coming back in 2020. We’ve picked a small sampling of the ones we are looking forward to the most. Keep reading to see which ones you need to check out when they finally premiere.

Saved By the Bell Reboot

TV reboot news confirms that there is going to be a Saved By the Bell reboot. The show doesn’t officially have a title yet, but Elizabeth Berkley and Mario Lopez are coming back as their respective (but grown-up) characters, Jessie Spano and A.C. Slater.

In this reboot, Zackary Morris (formerly John-Paul Gosselaar) is the Governor of California. He begins a program that brings poverty-stricken teenagers to a wealthy high school. We are guessing it is due to the public saying that poor kids don’t have the same educational benefits as rich kids. However, what kind of roles Berkley and Lopez will play in the reboot is unknown at this time.

TV Reboot News: Punky Brewster

We are really looking forward to this one. Everyone that grew up in the 80s remembers this show. This time around, Soleil Moon Frye will play her same character, but all grown up. She will be a single mom of three children and have an interesting relationship with her ex-husband. Plus, Punky ends up meeting a young girl that reminds her a lot of herself at that age.

Walker, Texas Ranger Reboot

Who couldn’t be excited about this reboot, which will be simply titled Walker? Especially with the news that Supernatural alum Jared Padalecki will be playing the main character. Now to be fair, we aren’t sure if this reboot will hit television screens before 2020 is over. However, we are really hoping so.

Practical Magic Reboot

Titled Rules of Magic, this is a spin on the popular movie that starred Sandra Bullock, who was a witch along with her out-of-control and spontaneous sister, portrayed by Nicole Kidman. We are really looking forward to this and it sounds like it could be a fun show to watch.

Gossip Girl Reboot

This show stopped airing nearly ten years ago, but remains popular with loyal fans. Centered around private school students, the new version will have a social media twist. Not much else is known, but we like that they are really modernizing this.
