Will Smith has found his smile back. It seems that that which caused him shame and misery is becoming his source of comic relief.
Recently, the “King Richard” actor posted a rather funny clip on TikTok and it appears that he has gotten comfortable enough to make fun of his infamous Oscar scandal.
In the TikTok duet video, Smith could be seen listening intently to what Sam Rossi a.k.a. “Miss Money Working” was saying about asking inanimate objects their thoughts on certain issues, more especially what they think of you.
Will Smith — Smith Questions His Award
Rossi’s side of the video which was captioned “This works because everything has consciousness,” had her explaining that any object of choice can be questioned about its thoughts towards you, and from your gut’s feeling, you have the answer to your question.
“You can pick up a pen and ask it how it sees you or what it thinks of you, and you will get an answer in your mind from your intuition. You can ask your car what it thinks of you, you can even ask money what it thinks of you.” Said Rossi.
Of course, there’s no smoke without fire. There’s no way Smith would go through the trouble of showing us that video if he hadn’t already planned something.
To prove our point, the “Bad Boys” actor goes out of sight briefly and reappears with his Best Actor Oscar Award for King Richard. Before we could figure out what was about to happen, Smith began speaking to his Award as the video ends.
Apparently, he wants to know his Award’s thoughts concerning his Oscars slap. I’m talking of the very slap he delivered to Chris Rock for making a joke about his wife’s medical condition.
Will Smith — Eddie Murphy’s Joke On Smith’s Oscar Scandal
Last month, the star of “A Thousand Words” was present at the Golden Globe Awards to receive the Cecil B. DeMille Award. There, Eddie Murphy thanked everyone for the award, but he left one comment ringing in everyone’s ears.
The comedian made reference to Smith’s infamous Oscar slap. It was so unexpected that, anyone who has forgotten about that day wouldn’t help but remember it again.
Eddie began, “I’ve been doing this for a long time so I could stand up here and keep saying thank you until they play the piano,’ Eddie said. ‘But I’m gonna wrap it up and just say something to all the up-and-coming dreamers and artists that are in the room tonight.”
He then added, “I want to let you know that there is a definitive blueprint that you can follow to achieve success, prosperity and peace of mind. Pay your taxes, mind your business, and keep Will Smith´s wife´s name out of your f***ing mouth!”
The incident is almost a year. At least it’ll mark one year by March 27. Yet the world still remembers.
