Ellen DeGeneres Tells Cancel Culture ‘Go F–k Yourselves’?

Ellen DeGeneres was super-popular with her daytime show, but after 19 seasons it ended in toxic fallout, and she’s not apologizing for it in the trailer for her Netflix special titled For Your Approval. In fact, she pretty much told cancel culture to “go f–k yourselves.”

Ellen DeGeneres Was Investigated  After Allegations

The Ellen Show brought love, humor, and kind gestures for years before it was investigated by Warner Bros after allegations of a toxic working environment.

The show ended and Hollywood shunned her. So, she hunkered down in Montecito for a while with her beloved Portia.

Seemingly forgotten was the fact that she came out years before it was trendy. And shoved to one side, was her dedication to the conservation of Africa’s Gorillas with the establishment of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund.

Well, she landed her Netflix Special as her swansong and she used the trailer to tell her critics and cancel culture to “go f–k themselves.”

The Trailer For The Netflix Special Brings Cheeky Ellen

The Netflix trailer for Ellen’s special dropped on Wednesday this week, and the stand-up comedian isn’t bowing and scraping to cancel culture.

Rumors arrived that after the Netflix show, she might relocate to Africa with Portia because people are so much more accepting and much nicer than Hollywood types. 

In the trailer, Ellen DeGeneres was her usual cheeky self and she didn’t care if you liked what she had to say, by the sound of it. In her own way, the former star of The Ellen Show gave it right back. Unrepentant, she said:

I thought, if I could make people happy, they’ll like me. And if they like me, I’ll feel good about myself … And all I can say about that is, thank god for the money! Oh yeah…I got kicked out of show business. Yeah, the ‘be kind girl wasn’t kind.” That was the headline…Had I ended my show by saying ‘Go f–k yourselves,” People would havebeen pleasantly surprised to find out I was kind. 

The Stand-up Comedian Gets The Laughs 

In the comments on YouTube, there were critics, but many people seemed happy to hear that the old spark hasn’t left Ellen DeGeneres. Their response was almost as good as the laughs she received about getting “f–ked’ from the Netflix audience.  Here are some of the reactions:
