General Hospital Spoilers: Nina Wiley’s Grandma – War Between Her and Carly Breaks Out?

General Hospital Spoilers: Nina Could Be Wiley's Grandma - War Between Her and Carly Breaks Out?General Hospital (GH) spoilers recently revealed that Wiley Cooper-Jones (Erik and Theo Olson) could actually be the grandson of Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) if it comes out that the evil Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) is actually Nina’s long-lost daughter. GH fans know that Nelle is fighting for sole custody of Wiley and is locked in mortal battle with the Corinthos family. Many didn’t see it coming, but the stage is being set for an all-out war between Nina and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright).

General Hospital Spoilers – Nina Reeves Might Be Nelle Benson’s Mom

It’s a sure bet that most GH fans know by now that Nelle Benson may be the child Nina Reeves believes she lost when she went into a coma more than twenty years ago. For those who don’t know, Nina fell into a coma after ingesting anti-depressants. Her mother, Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills), who is believed to be dead, ensured that the pills were at a much higher dose than what Nina’s prescription called for. Madeline’s motive for doing so was a desire to cause Nina to miscarry. However, instead of losing the baby, Nina went into a multi-year coma.

During the coma, Nina gave birth (apparently) to a girl. Now, GH fans know that Nina has pined away for the child she never knew. Nina is frequently seen holding a half-locket where her eyes gaze off into the distance and viewers know that she’s lost in a mental fantasy somewhere.

In any case, it’s been revealed that Nelle Benson has, what appears to be, the other half of Nina’s half-locket.

General Hospital Spoilers – Nelle Benson is Wiley Cooper-Jonse’s Mom

Although it sickens many GH viewers, it’s clear that Nelle is Wiley’s biological mother. Of course, fans know that Wiley’s original name was Jonah, and Nelle swapped Jonah for the real Wiley. Unfortunately, (some would say horrifically), the real Wiley was dead. Nelle gave birth to baby Jonah on the side of the highway, and then walked with him until she saw (what a coincidence!) Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) sitting and weeping in a car. Somehow, Nelle talked Brad into switching out the dead Wiley who Brad was taking back to the hospital, with her own son.

Since that plot was discovered, everyone has forgotten about Brad and Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes), but that’s a different story altogether. Since Nelle’s scheme unraveled, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Nelle have been fighting tooth and nail for sole custody of Wiley. Michael has been relying heavily upon the help of his mother, Carly.

The sad part here … is that currently, Nina and Carly are friends.

General Hospital Spoilers – Nina Reeves Backs Nelle Benson

GH fans know that Nina is practically obsessed with the idea she has in her mind about what her missing child might be like. Whether she will be appalled or pleased when she discovers Nelle has the other half of her locket remains to be seen. However, if past behavior is any indication, it’s likely that Nina may suddenly see Nelle with a bright halo hanging above her head.

Should Nina’s emotions take a huge one-eighty, viewers may see Nina choose to support Nelle in the custody battle for Wiley. If that happens, GH fans can be sure it will create tons of drama. Carly and Nina’s friendship may go the way of the Dodo bird, and indeed …

GH viewers may soon see the resources of Sonny’s operations pitted against those of Aurora Media.

This all depends on how sorry Nina feels for Nelle or if she can retain some objectivity in the issue. Wiley’s well being should be kept supreme in this situation and Nelle may not yet be ready (or redeemed) for full time motherhood. Nina could fight for custody if she can prove she is his blood maternal grandmother though!
