In this week’s Neighbours, viewers will see a terrible fire start at Fitzgerald Motors, while Bea is asleep inside. Chloe will accuse Mel of arson and we know she is right, as we previously revealed that Mel will set fire to the garage in order to purchase the land on behalf of Robinson Pines.
Although committing arson is always bad, to be fair to Mel, she didn’t know Bea was inside, taking a power nap during a busy shift. However, Bea would have almost certainly died in the fire if it wasn’t for her boyfriend Ned Willis popping by for a surprise visit and finding the garage on fire.
Neighbours – Bea Also Suspects Mel Is Responsible
Once Bea is safe and in hospital, she is sure that Mel is to blame for the incident, correctly believing that she’s done it in a ploy for Lucas to sell his business.
Bea confronts Mel as soon as she can, demanding to know where she was at the time that the fire ensued, but she doesn’t get very far when loyal girlfriend Chloe jumps to her defense. Things only get worse for Bea when Mel gets her way, being left jobless after Lucas agrees to sell the garage.
However, Chloe soon becomes unsure about Mel’s behaviour. She’s becoming ruthless in her effort to buy more properties for Robinson Pines and showing absolutely no sympathy towards Bea for losing her job.
Neighbours – Aaron Mentions The Faulty Extension Lead
The final nail in the coffin comes when Aaron brings up the faulty extension lead that he found in the house when cleaning and Mel was supposed to get rid of for him. This is the most obvious clue, especially considering the garage was started by a dodgy extension lead.
Chloe confronts Mel right away – but will she own up to it?
