10 Kids and Counting fans are well aware that Josh Duggar hasn’t been a good boy in prison, and yet new reports suggest that he is getting some privileges that he didn’t earn. Read on to find out what is allegedly going on with the former TLC star.
Josh Duggar Got Into Trouble In Prison
A few years ago, the oldest son of Jim Bob Duggar who was sentenced to 151 months in prison for child pornography broke the rules and ended up in solitary in the punishment block. At the time, he was found in possession of a phone which is strictly forbidden. That counted against him, and TLC fans sneered about him getting some added time to his sentence.
Josh Duggar had boasted that he would be a model prisoner, but clearly, he wasn’t. Prisoners with access to phones are considered a potential risk because they can be used to arrange an escape. And anyway, FCI Seagoville in Texas isn’t the Club Med. But it seems that he’s been rewarded anyway.
Undeserved Privileges For Former TLC Star
On September 27, The Sun US reported that a source leaked some information about the former 19 Kids and Counting star. The outlet cited the source as claiming that there’s an accommodation unit for those prisoners who behave themselves very well. And Jim Bob’s son moved in there.
Josh Duggar, the source said, moved into what is now called an “honors dorm.” It’s been freshly “renovated,” and comes with nice “amenities and privileges.” The source claimed:
They finished painting the walls and getting flowers put into Dorm 6, where Josh lives. It’s been turned into an honors dorm. They get special privileges and building updates because it’s an honors dorm. There are washers and dryers, microwaves, and more. [And,] they’re trying to create a dorm of model inmates.
How Do Prisoners Get Into The Honors Dorm?
The outlet reported that there are requirements to get into the new honors dorm. Josh Duggar allegedly doesn’t meet the requirements. Apparently, prisoners must have “no disciplinary actions in a certain amount of time, have to have a job, and must sign a code of conduct agreement.”
The word from inside the prison is that the 19 Kids and Counting alum doesn’t actually work. However, he is thought to be studying toward a degree, so that counts as work. Additionally, the TLC star’s time in the punishment unit was allegedly waived.
What are your thoughts on the allegations that Josh Duggar is getting moved into a nice unit that he does not qualify for? Do you believe the story? Or do you think that it might just be a rumor?
